I founded and run The Map Room recording studio in Portland, Oregon. Our clients include Band of Horses, Aminé, Gossip, Other Lives, Grandaddy, Raphael Saadiq and so many more. I have extensive experience working on rock, singer-songwriter, pop, jazz, and soul music.
I work out of The Map Room recording studio as a recording and mix engineer. The studio is full of unique and classic recording equipment, much of which I built or refurbished. Custom one-of-a-kind microphones, a gorgeous-sounding and highly modified Speck M72 console, Studer A800 tape machine and an Ecoplate plate reverb are some of the tools that I use in making a sonic palate.
